This is a list of the 10 LP's i've found enjoyable enough to call top tens.
#10
Artist: Entities
Album: Novalis
Genre: Progressive Metalcore/Deathcore
Label: Unsigned
Why:
I hate the term "Djent" but thats what Entities is i guess if u had to give them a term or name. For their final record they put together quite the beaut. Album is indeed full of the "Djent" people love and all around just a great album.

Artist: Wrvth
Album: Self-Titled
Genre: Progressive Death Metal
Label: Unique Leader Records
Why:
Well one thing i want to say right now to get it off my chest... i hate this whole Upside down A=V thing... Is it supposed to be edgy? Anyways back to the album. Glorious is what i need to call it. Has Jazz fusion elements and has the great prog death metal the bands always had. PS they were once Wrath of Vesuvius. And when they were called that they were heavy but not of this magnitude. Huge step up from prior releases.

Artist: The Last Ten Seconds of Life
Album: Soulless Hymns
Genre: Deathcore
Label: Density Records
Why:
This album was fantastic as far as deathcore releases go. Vocals especially. Man i can't get enough of this guys vocals its nasty pure anger filled vocals. Too bad the vocalist left the band... idk who can replace a guy like this.

Genre: Metalcore
Label; Fearless Records
Why:
Melodic Metalcore goodness. Honestly reminds me of As I Lay Dying a little. I mean they had the same thing going for them. More cleans tho. Album was a repeat for the week it came out.

Artist: Too Close to Touch
Album: Nerve Endings
Genre: Alternative/Post-Hardcore
Label: Epitaph Records
Why:
Im a sucker for bands that just sing. No harsh vocals just pure singing and belting of an amazing voice. This album was well put together and beautifully written. Band reminded me of a less lyrical Hands Like Houses... they cant compete with them but i was just reminded of them and think they are like HLH.

#4
Artist: Slaves
Album: Routine Breathing
Genre: Post-Hardcore
Label: Artery Recordings
Why:
Jonny Craig! Ahhh! (Screams like a fangirl). No im serious. im a huge JC guy. Everything he makes is instant gold. All tho i prefer stuff like this as apposed to the R&B stuff. i like Rock/Metal Substance to his vocals. anyways... This album was a masterpiece for post-hardcore releases with amazing singing.

Artist: Being As An Ocean
Album: Self-Titled
Genre: Melodic Hardcore
Label: InVogue Records
Why:
This... Right here has the bets cleans ive heard all fucking year no joke. The dude they got from The Elijah made a huge impact on their music. Granted their older stuff was just as good but the addition of the cleans on the last 2 records just skyrocketed them to a much higher elevation of great music. Lyrics for Melo Hardcore always make me feel which is a plus. and the cleans they have just made the feels twice as strong.

#2
Artist: Bring Me the Horizon
Album: That's the Spirit
Genre: Alternative/Post-Grunge/Post-Hardcore
Label: Epitaph Records
Why:
Yes ive followed this band since their deathcore days and honestly always think their Deathcore days are their best. But i love how with each release they got different, more unique they havnt made one album thats similar to the one before it. This one was no different. To me its a mix of Linkin Park, Breaking Benjamin and their Sempiternal release but with more catchyness to it which was already hard to do seeing as Sempy was catchy as fuck to me. Band is going places and im stoked to hear how their next records (when it comes) will sound different.

#1
Artist; Breaking Benjamin
Album: Dark Before Dawn
Genre: Post-Grunge/Rock
Label: Hollywood Records
Why:
This band is my favorite band. They went silent on hiatus back in 2009 after Dear Agony. When they announced a comeback i literally blew a load haha. I waited patiently for this to drop and already knew from the get go it would be a #1 on my list and well it is. Band made a comeback and brought the good sound back that we loved and missed. So hoping more comes and this isnt the last thing.
